February 23, 2012 Hope you all had a great winter. Spring is just
around the corner. We have opened the shop and hope that you
will visit us soon.
On Saturday Feb. 25 and Sunday Feb. 26 you should join us at
Celebrations on rt. 6 in Utica.

November 20, 2011 Thanks to all of the volunteers that helped out
at the reforestation of Oakland Park!
November 15, 2011 THIS WEEK! We will be planting phase 2 of the
tornado damage at Oakland Park. Meet us there at 9 o'clock!
Reminder that Grave Blankets and Pillows are now on pre-order.
We will have some in stock at the shop, or call for your
specifications.
November 9, 2011 This weekend NOVEMBER 12 will be our fall
Open House. We hope to see all of your shining faces! :)

another fall appreciation day! It will be September 24 hope to see
all of you here! :)
June 1, 2011 Hope everyone is keeping cool and enjoying the
warm weather we have been given. Make sure to sign up for our
email list. We send out coupons for the members of our mailing list.
May 6, 2011 Well the weather is finally starting to get nice. Things
are getting busy here at Danchris. We encourage all to stop by
and check out our new Plant House!

March 17, 2011 Hope you all had a great St. Patrick's Day. Things
are just starting to turn green! This year you want your yard to be
a beautiful shade of green, without all the bad grasses around, so
use Fertilome brand Crabgrass preventer. By putting it on before it
emerges, you will have a healthy lawn without crabgrass!
March 7,2011 Thank you to everyone who stopped by the booth
this weekend. The show went great and we are getting excited for
the upcoming planting season
March 4, 2011 This weekend we will be at the Peru Mall Home
and Garden Show. Please come by and see us. Don't forget to
sign up for door prizes!
February 15, 2011 We hope you have had a safe winter. Are you
getting the spring bug yet? We are. We will be reopening on
Thursday February 24. See you soon!
December 16, 2010 It is reaching the cold season and we are
eating a lot more. So are our birds! This winter we are closing, but
the birds can still get food. We are making free
deliveries in town for those who still need to
feed the birds. Lets make sure to keep them happy and keep
them feeding!
December 10, 2010 We hope Christmas shopping has been going
well! For those still looking for the perfect gift or last minute details
to your decorations, come look at the new linens we have in stock!
There are many beautiful colors and patterns that will match many
households!
December 1, 2010 We hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!
Now to look forward to the Christmas season. We have many
Grave blankets and Grave Pillows for those love ones we have
lost. Also many great Christmas gifts for those who mean the most
to us.

company tore up Bernstein St, so you will have to come in the back
way. Rt 1 From Illinois St: Left on 12th, Left on Arthur, Left on
James/Powell and in on an ally. Rt 2 from Illinois St. Turn Down Hall
St (just north of Bernstein), Right on Powell, and Right on James
which is an ally...

OCTOBER 1, 2010 Look at our new bulbs this year! They are
great and you need to start planting soon! :)
SEPTEMBER 25, 2010 Thank you everyone who came out to
support us. Daniel and Anne were very excited to see everyone.
We are happy that they came to mingle with everyone ALL DAY! It
was a big success and we are very appreciative. God Bless
SEPTEMBER 5, 2010 We had a blast at Cruise Night. Streator did
a wonderful job like always. Thank you to all of you that came to
visit with us and our truck Saturday night! Hope to see you at the
Birthday party in two weeks!! (OH and Mums are in!!)
AUGUST 19, 2010 Greg and Arlette just got back from the IGA
(Independent Garden Center Show) at Navy Pier in Chicago. There
they made new contacts so that we could have new merchandise
and fresh ideas.
AUGUST 17, 2010 We are preparing for a BIRTHDAY BASH!! The
date will be on September 25. Come check out the party. There will
be food and prizes all day, so we know you will have a blast!
AUGUST 10, 2010 We at Danchris have been very busy keeping
up with the "Green Industry." On Thursday August 5, Greg, Arlette,
and Afton Attended the ILCA Green industry day at Bailey Nursery.
They were able to interact with many new companies, and talk
about the innovation in the Green Industry market.
JULY 8, 2010 We want to thank our customers for voting for us in
The Times Newspaper. Danchris Nursery took 1st in Landscaper
AND Nursery. We also were voted 4th best overall for customer
service. This was very important to us because it included any
business in The Times reading area. Thank you for writing our
name into the ballot. We really appreciate your recognition.
JUNE 9, 2010 Miraculously Danchris Nursery sustained minimal
damage from the tornado that struck Streator Saturday night. All
the mess has been cleaned up and we are open for retail
business. Landscape projects will be started and finished as
scheduled.
Thanks to all the volunteers that helped on Sunday.
